Amanda Cutshall

Staff Writer

Amanda Cutshall is the managing editor of eExtra News.

She has been in the news business since graduating university four years ago, originally starting at The Paris News and eventually moving over to eExtra News to reach a larger readership.

Along the way, she has chased tornadoes and fires, covered crime and corruption, and shared a great deal of community events and special interest pieces.

Since her journalism career began, she has won numerous awards for her writing including Breaking News Journalist of the year, and Journalist of the Year, to name a couple.

The youngest daughter of Brenda Gohn, Cutshall has found her calling in the news business.

"I've never before had a job that didn't feel like a job," she said. "I love coming to work every day. Each day is filled with excitement and my coworkers are the best."

She and her wife, Alissa, are blessed with four of the most perfect dogs (in her humble opinion), and a cat who is more like a roommate. They live together in Paris, Texas.
