Toni McDowra graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelor in Business & Marketing. She started her career right here in Paris, TX selling media advertising for KBUS radio. She then went on to manage KOYN radio where she did sales, voice over work as well as on-air characters.

For the next 14 years she made her home at The Paris News. She started as a sales representative and then rose through the ranks to become the Classified Manager and 8 of those years she was the Advertising Director. In fact she was the first female Ad Director the newspaper ever had.

In 2008 she moved west to Fort Worth and began a 5 year stint with the Fort Worth Star Telegram. In 2008 the Star Telegram was the 4th largest newspaper in the country. Toni was the Sales Manger for the Arlington District where she led her sales team to win many awards.

Thereafter Toni went to work as the Publisher for a group of monthly papers in the Dallas area and now she is the Manager Partner of eParisExtra, eGreenvilleExtra and eMtPleasantExtra reaching over 160,000 unique users each month and paving the road to minute by minute regional news for North East Texas and South East Oklahoma.
