Trent Reed is a staff writer for eExtra News, where he researches and writes custom content, and works with community members to provide stories through video content. He has a background in journalism/news reporting, photography, videography and content design.

Studied mathematics at Paris Junior College, Trent majored in accounting, with a minor in visual arts (emphasis on photography and videography) at Texas A&M-Commerce.

Trent adds camping, hiking, movies and reading among his myriad of interests.

“To me, journalism is a crucial component to the community. Its top priority is to ensure governments follow the law," he said. "Journalists are there to help nonprofits raise essential funds, and help others tell their stories. Everyone has a story, we’re here for them.”
