Graffiti vandal on the loose, Police ask public for leads

The Mt. Pleasant Police Department is on the search for the person responsible for vandalizing several buildings in the city.

Police say they began receiving calls January 7, 2019, in regards to graffiti being sprayed on various buildings throughout the area. The suspect is seen in the photos below and police believe the male subject is Hispanic or white.

As seen in the photos, he was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, gray jogger pants, with black shoes with soles. The suspect vehicle driven is a white Hyundai Sonata.

This suspect and another unidentified person went to multiple locations spray painting a cursive “L” on walls. The following locations were tagged with graffiti: Sandlin Motors Body Shop, Jo’s, Eastside Grocery, and Mount Pleasant High School.
