To make holiday shopping a little easier and a little more fun, your favorite downtown Mount Pleasant merchants are open late until 8 p.m. on Thursdays until Christmas.
Enjoy Thursday nights in Downtown Mount Pleasant and celebrate the joys of the holiday season! Stores in Downtown Mount Pleasant will be open later on these evenings with lots of holidays happenings in and around the square.
Come and experience the Christmas season in downtown Mount Pleasant while you check out beautiful decorations and light displays, take advantage of shopping specials, and visit Santa Claus in his workshop in Caldwell Park for photos and to tell him what’s on your list. Photos with Santa are free, and the smiles Santa brings… they’re priceless.
This week, you can also see some spectacular performances from Chapel Hill ISD. Their students will be caroling and performing live music in and around the downtown shops. The Chapel Hill cheerleaders, band, choir and other groups will perform downtown from 5 pm to 7 pm.
“We are thrilled that each Thursday a different school district will have their students downtown for performances and caroling,” said Jacob Hatfield, Main Street Director.
Every Thursday you can experience art, shopping, dining and entertainment in a special and unique way you’ll only find downtown. Local merchants are planning exciting, engaging in-store events including food and beverage tastings, local designs and unique shopping experiences.
