Northeast Texan pizza lovers are rejoicing as the Dallas Pizza Fest has just been announced for April 14, 2019.
Put on by the Deep Ellum Art Company, the pizza fest will begin and noon and run through 9 p.m.
“History of human civilization is full of interesting dishes, but only a few of them have managed to capture the imagination and respect from every corner of our world,” officials announced. “At #dallaspizzafest19 you can find incredible styles of pizza, and its journey from the ovens of the Italian chefs to the worldwide popularity that it has today. We invite you to experience the 2nd Annual Dallas Pizza Fest 2019, showcasing the delicious taste of Pizza in our city. Whether it is thin crust, deep dish or anything in between, pizza is everyone’s favorite.”
The event is open to all ages, however, there will be a beer garden available for those 21 and older.
Aside from the pizza, there will be live music, bounce houses for children and a pizza eating contest.
