The Texas Dream Center has spent the last six years growing a successful drug and alcohol rehab program for men in Deport, Texas. Now, the time has come for the center to expand their services to reach women and launch the first ever Texas Dream Women’s Center in Clarksville, Texas.

The center has been flooded with questions and excitement since the announcement and has decided to hold a community meeting January 28 for anyone who is interested to learn more.

“In order to answer these questions, we are holding a community meeting at The Hub Community Center in Clarksville, Texas, on Monday,” said Chris Taylor. “The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and all are invited to come.”

Taylor said the center is hoping to build relationships with local businesses and community members in order to make the women’s center successful with the full support of the surrounding area.

According to Taylor,  it has been a challenge to manage the growing men’s center while preparing the women’s facility as well. Taylor said it’s gaining momentum and should be up and running within a couple of months.

“The main building was originally a church and we’d added two large portable buildings to the property,” said Taylor. “We’re currently adding showers and creating bedroom spaces in the former church in order to open the main building first. The other two buildings will have more extensive remodeling as we add bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces which will take more time. The Lord has changed countless lives through our Deport center and we’re excited to see the impact the women’s center will have.”
The Hub is located at 502 W Broadway St, Clarksville, TX 75426.
