Spots going fast for Awesome Adventure camp near endangered elephants

Spaces are being filled quick at Awesome Adventures, a junior elephant ambassador camp, as sessions 1 and 4 are already filled. Sessions 2 and 3 have limited spaces available.

According to its website, campers learn about endangered Asian elephants as the camp is near one of the nation’s largest private elephant facilities, Endangered Ark Foundation, 2657 East 2070 Road in Hugo, Oklahoma.

“Participants will have a unique opportunity to learn about one of the world’s most endangered species – the Asian elephant – up close and in person,” Oklahoma Awesome Adventures’ site says. “In addition to earning their junior elephant ambassador certification, campers will also be provided with valuable lessons and enriching activities that will focus on team building, leadership, community services and recreation fun.”

To register for the camp visit their site here.
