Mount Pleasant High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter spearheaded an on-campus collection drive for Grace Case, which is part of the CASA organization. The Grace Case gives essential items to children who are removed from their homes quickly and taken to foster homes.

The collection was part of Giving Tuesday (a global initiative to give back to local charities, organizations, etc..). Giving Tuesday is held the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

A large number of items were collected including fleece blankets, colored pencils, children’s books, coloring books for teenagers and travel items such as shampoo, conditioners, body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste.

FBLA would like to thank the following organizations for their contributions: HOSA, Student Council, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and Mr. Alston’s students.
